Itinerary
Fez Marrakech Sahara Desert Tour 1 Night 2 Days, start at 07:00- 08.00 Pick up from hotel/riad. Drive to Merzouga. Then, we will stop at the monkey forest to see Barbary apes (Monkeys) leaping from higher trees branches plus a visit to local nomads who live in a cave for mint tea with them to learn more about their way of life and have information about their culture and Morocco Berber history. After that, we will move together to Ifrane or as it is known “little Switzerland ” that is established by the French in 1930 to see the famous landmark, Stone Lion.
13:00H Continue On our way to Midelt town where we’ll have lunch at local REST.
In the afternoon, we will cross/pass TIZEN TALGHAMT to reach Errachidia to see the admiring views of Ziz Gorges, and Later on, stop at Ziz valley to see the panoramic views and take pictures.
16.00: continue to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Erfoud where we’ll have a visit to a local fossil craft workshop.
Continue to Merzouga. On arrival, transfer to your hotel to store your luggage
18.00: Your local guide will be waiting for you to take you on a camel to enjoy attractive sunset in nomad tents where you will have an enjoyable dinner under a starry sky, sweet and cool air in the Morocco desert with a Berber show to watch a spectacular Moroccan show Berber folklore around a central fire pit where musicians banging drums, dance in special for you. Additionally, you’ll not just listen and dance you’ll also attempt to sing along. Since the drums vibrating are very fabulous, You’ll enjoy a traditional Berber meal ″Berber tajine” and drink mint tea while sitting on cushions you’ll spend a mythical night like you are in 1000 starts hotel or more. Overnight will be in desert tents.
wake up early to enjoy the sunrise on the Sahara dunes. After that, ride the camel back to the hotel for a delicious breakfast. Then, be ready for an amazing drive to Marrakech passing by Todra Gorges, Valley Todra, Kelaat Mgouna, Dades Valley, Sakura, and Ouarzazate. lunch, at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, continue our trip crossing High Atlas Mountains, Tizi n’Tichka pass (2260 m in altitude) while enjoying superb views and Berber Villages on the way.
