We’ll start by Fes Medina’s narrow Alleys and its amusing souks such as Lihoud souk(Jewish market) where blacksmiths and carpenters do business, at this souk we’ll explore woven Berber carpets, and rugs carpet with different designs, colours and symbols, and other Moroccan handicraft items made by local Craftsmen.

Moving to Seffarine Place located near Quarantine university where you can select plenty of chiselled trays, teapots, jars and innumerable other objects.

Next, we’ll visit the Batha Museum’s excellent collection of traditional Moroccan arts and crafts. artistic historical artefacts include fine woodcarving, and zellij (earthenware) sculpted plaster. We’ll also have a great visit to the Nejjarine Museum of Wooden Arts and Crafts which was Opened in 1998. There is also Nejjarine Museum which allows visitors to marvel at such artefacts as craftsman’s tools, prayer beads, ancient boxes, and musical instruments.

Tannery & Ceramic pottery school

Furthermore, we’ll discover the oldest and the biggest fascinating tannery in Africa founded in the 9 century, colours seeing the spacious array of leather and workers who use only colours to produce leather with high quality. These Tannery artisans manufacture local products like Shoes, Coats, and Bags as precious handicrafts. After that, we’ll have a class at Ceramic pottery school to know more about one of the cultures and heritage of Morocco which is pottery -traditional mosaics and Zellije where we’ll discover beautiful products made only by local artisans and just by hands, you’ll also learn how to draw decorative lines around the jar or bowl.

we’ll have another class about scarf making to know how it’s made by using a manual wheel and brush; you’ll have a great experience since you’ll try to learn how to make a scarf step by step.
