In the morning, your driver will pick you up from your hotel or riad in a well-equipped vehicle. First, enjoy a quick drive around the city center, then stop at Hassan II Mosque.
The first thing you will notice is its high minaret, one of the tallest in the world. The mosque overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and features an earthenware floor, decorated arches, engraved wooden doors, and a green tiled roof. The interior is accessible for a fee.
Next, wander along the Ain Diab corniche to enjoy the Atlantic breeze and lined cafes. Explore Casablanca’s Ancient Medina, known as Habous, built in the 19th century with European influences, containing modern shops and traditional crooked lanes. You can have lunch in the Medina at your own expense, with assistance to find good restaurants.
Moroccan Jewish Museum, Old Churches, El Hank Lighthouse
After lunch, continue your city tour to westernized landmarks. Start with the Moroccan Jewish Museum, once a Jewish orphanage, showcasing Moroccan heritage with copper walls, a central basin, restored clothing, ritual objects, and antique tools.
